Ahyaniha Asdeliha (Receive Help) Consultants with expertise in the Cherokee non-profit sector, arts and humanities and other areas, who focus on helping build strong community organizations, often grassroots groups, working to make a difference in the larger family of the Cherokee people and friends by offering their services as researchers and writers of the grants you need to receive. Newsletter available soon. Check back often. To support the projects and programs chosen by the CAHC, and proposed projects/prgrams from our members, patrons and others, grant research and writing is essential. Once a project/program is identified our grant writers go to work researching possible funding options. Once the research is completed and presented to the board, the board will recommend the sources for funding they would like the organization to pursue. The grant writers will then begin to compile the data and information necessary to apply for the funding, prepare the appliocation/proposal, present it to the board for final approval and then send it to the funding source all in a timely manner. If you have a project proposal please send a short, but precise, narrative of your proposal to PROPOSAL (click here) or post it by snail mail to: P. O. Box 594, Park Hill, OK 74451. If your organization would like to consult regarding any aspect of grant writing for your organization contact us at GRANT ASSIST (click here). You will need to include the following: 1. Organization Name/Address/Phone/Email 2. Name of Board or Trustee members, with short biographies of each 3. Name of person who will act as the liaison between the CAHC and your organization, with email, phone and postal address (if different than that of the organization information) 4. Name of grant and grant source, if known 5. Have you had grant support before? If yes, please explain. Does this assistance cost you? Two responses: 1. No - If you are an individual who would like help funding a proposal, and we agree it is a project which needs support, there will be no cost to you. The CAHC will act as the funding applicant for the project which has become our proposal, with you as the agent of support and a partner, and apply for the funding as such. 2. Yes - you are an independent, non-profit organization in need of help with the funding development process. The fee will be negotiable. The CACH will work as a consultant with your organization to research, identify and write for possible funding sources for your organization. Some decisions regarding a fee will depend on the funding source and their requirements. We encourage and anticipate collaborations and partnerships work with many Cherokee and non-Cherokee based organizations. info@cherokeehumanities.com www.cherokeehumanities.com P. O.
