Cherokee, grew up among the
traditions and culture of his Cherokee
people.  He is the grandson of the late
George and Aggie Christie Pumpkin.  
Roger lives in Adair county, OK, with
his wife Shawna Morton Cain, also
Cherokee.  Shawna is a Cherokee
Living Treasure, and produces some of
the finest baskets and weavings using
materials she gathers from the forest
floors and growth.
